Composed of particle board substrate, with a thin melamine overlay bonded to both sides. The melamine overlay is normally white in color, but can also be produced in almond and black as well.

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

Composed of larger flake-like strands or shreds of wood that have been oriented in a specific fashion and bonded together with resin adhesives. Has much different appearance than veneer based plywood products, but is often used as a substitute because of its similar structural properties. It is normally a more economical panel product.
